Ever struggle to calm your mind? Ever wake up in the middle of the night frantic, thoughts racing, maybe even sweating, and worried all about what you need to get done the next day?
Are you ever unsure about where to start because you have so much to do and no time to get it done?
If this sounds like you, you are not alone.
It’s safe to say that everyone has these feelings from time to time. But just because it’s “normal”, and just because YOU feel like this sometimes, doesn’t mean that you can’t learn how to ease that inner storm going on inside your head and calm your thoughts..
Yes, you CAN learn how to calm your mind, and I can help to teach you! ๐
A calm mind may not seem like something that is attainable, or even 100% necessary…..I mean life itself can just be learning how to live among the chaos sometimes.
But learning how to calm your mind absolutely is necessary and is doable.
Why? Because a calm mind is a more attentive and proactive mind. A calm mind allows for more beauty.
And in learning to remove anxious thoughts, you can learn to enjoy your life far more than you already do!
So the question is….”How Do You Calm Your Mind and Achieve Peace Within?”
When you have a mind that will not stop, you are usually hard-pressed to find inner peace.
The more your mind races, the more anxious and frustrated you will likely become…..the more you will snap at your kids and loved ones, the more inner turmoil you feel and the less likely you are to be productive.
All of this can lead to constant anger, constant stress, and absolutely unproductive days, weeks, and even months.
I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to continue to live this way. In fact, I beg you not to!
There are many ways to calm your overactive mind and, yes, you really can learn how to live a more calm and peaceful life.
I am going to share with you a little about how you can do this, but know that everyone is different and not every technique will work for every single person (at least not instantly)…..
…..that’s why it’s important to have a variety of techniques to fall back on that can ease your stress, and calm your mind.

Now let’s get to what to do when the sh*t hits the fan……
When your mind starts running a million miles a minute and you’re not sure which way to turn next, try to pause and repeat a positive affirmation.
Now you may be wondering “why” exactly, and here it is…..when you use the power of positive self-talk, you will program your mind to work in a new and different way.ย
Say “whaaa!?!?” ๐ฎ
Yeah you read that right. The subconscious mind is a powerful tool, and when that tool works in your favor, it’s a beautiful thing….but when it doesn’t, we’ve got to take steps to change that. And positive affirmations will help you to do just that.
How does it work you ask?? ๐
Well, when things seem as if they are getting out of hand, you can use an affirmation such as, “I trust my ability to relax. I am calm and peaceful.”ย
Now, although this may not be the case at the moment, repeating this constantly will allow your subconscious to start to believe it. This will help to change your inner dialogue in those moments when you are tempted to succumb to the craziness surrounding you.
So write the affirmation down, say it out loud, say it to yourself in front of the mirror. ๐ Lather, rinse, repeat for as often as you need!
Positive affirmations are a lifeline in learning how to calm your mind.
They give you permission to turn off the negative dialogue in your mind and replace it with positive thoughts. The negative dialogue feeds the feelings of turmoil, so when you replace them with peaceful affirmations, you open up the power to calm your mind and change your life, one positive statement at a time.
If you have a hard time believing that this strategy will work for you, give it a try with an open heart and mind.
It really does work, and I am a living, breathing testament to that fact. Positive affirmations did and do continue to work for me on a daily basis! I am calmer, more relaxed, and less stressed…..and all while living through a pandemic. ๐ฒ
So give it a try yourself. If you give it an honest go, you’ll be amazed…..in no time at all, you’ll feel calmer, less stressed, more peaceful, and feel the benefits unfold in every area of your life.
Many of us feel like we cannot do anything about the crazy lives we lead and the inner chaos we feel. But I can assure you that this is not true!
When you use positive affirmations, you reprogram your brain so that there is only room for positive thoughts. You will be surprised at how quickly a positive affirmation such as, “I trust that there is a plan for my life, even if it has yet to be revealed to me” can work for you.
If you repeat affirmations often enough, you’ll soon begin to believe them, and you’ll turn a seemingly simple statement into reality.
So if you feel like your life has gotten off course, or maybe it’s spinning out of control why not give a positive affirmation a chance? All you have to lose are those negative, stressed out feelings. ๐
Open your world to the new possibilities – have a calm mind, lead a calm life, or feel more at peace.
